BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 faster than Apple iPhone 4

We know there is no point comparing the two brilliant smartphones the BlachBerry Bold Touch 9900 and Apple iPhone 4 from completely different world each proficient in there own way. But those who are highly perplexed on these two comprehensive phones must have a look below on there compared features.

Form:
Both these phones appears to be quite similar in terms of there dimensions and weights. iPhone 4 is captured into the 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm chassis whereas BlackBerry 9900 is about 115mm long, 66mm broad and 10.5mm thick. The weights are 137g and 130g respectively. The main difference comes with the screen. In blackberry Bold 9900, the phone is divided into a 2.8 TFT capacitive touchscreen and QWERTY keypad. On the other hand, in iPhone 4, the screen is covered all over the device with 3.5 inches IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen size.

Memory and Operating System:
This is the main and decisive section that differentiates the two smartphones. BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 and iPhone 4 both features respective operating systems in the markets, the Blackberry OS v7.0 and the Apple iOS 4.0. However, BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 is faster than iPhone 4 as it runs on 1.2 GHz processor along with 768 MB of RAM. On the other hand iPhone 4 sticks to 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU with 512MB RAM. Apple should think of brining microSd card slot soon. BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 comes with microSD card slot expandable up to 32 GB. (more…)

Apple Inc. has announced their most awaited handset, namely Apple iPhone 5. The handset was the most rumored devices that has made so much of anxiety to the people.  Their previous version, iPhone 4 has already knocked out so many other branded handsets with its beauty and amazing features. It is rumored that Apple will launch iPhone 5 with all the corrections done that were faced in iPhone 4. Apple iPhone has got problems such as retina display discoloration and reception problems. Apple has promised to be a faster mobile internet launched in with iPhone 5, better reception and more enhanced features that will surely satisfy the users. It is a 2G/3G handset that operates at frequency bands of GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and UMTS 850, 900, 1900, 2100. It will also having an ability to operate and access 4G networks. Apple iPhone 4 CDMA/Verizon 16, 32 GB Specifications

The iPhone 4 CDMA is very much similar to the previously introduced iPhone 4, apart from the network support for CDMA rather than GSM. Although, it also has no SIM card slot, a revised antenna and button placement and support for a new 3G capability that will make it possible to use the iPhone to connect up to five Wi-Fi devices.

The Apple iPhone 4 CDMA/Verizon model that has a stainless steel body design with a high-density 3.5-inches, IPS, LED-backlit display supporting 960×640 326 ppi with multi-touch retina display.

It supports dual cameras – a 5 MP HD video/still camera (720p at 30 FPS) with a backside illuminated sensor, a 5X digital zoom, an LED flash on the rear, a VGA quality video/still camera on the front designed for video conferencing over the Wi-Fi network.It is also included with Apple’s “FaceTime” application. Apple iPad 2 expected to sell 6 million a month

The Apple iPad 2 is being expected to sell in excess of six million units every month. The iPad was the first device to successfully enter the tablet device market. Despite these huge figures, iPad sales did not meet analyst’s prospect.

Reports suggest that Apple has teamed up with two more touchscreen manufacturers, Chimei Innolux and Cando. These two additional suppliers compliment those already working. (more…)

Verizon iPhone 4 and iOS 4.2 release: Two Apple products may land together

Apple pushed iOS 4.2 release date again. According to reports, the iOS 4.2, which was supposed to be released last week, will now become available to iPhone 4 and iPad users just before the Thanksgiving and Black Friday 2010.

The timing of new iOS 4.2 release date raises the question about Apple’s plans. There are now widespread rumors that Apple may release iOS 4.2 with Verizon iPhone 4 during the shopping season of 2010. If rumors are believed, Verizon iPhone, which is now confirmed to be release by the first quarter of next year, may have been the reason behind the Apple’s delay of iOS 4.2. (more…)
