BlackBerry Curve 9380: RIM’s first full touchscreen smartphone

After ruling many years over QWERTY keyboard smartphones RIM released a budget all touch device in the shape of BlackBerry Curve 9380. RIM tried to give both touch and its famous four rows keyboard feel to their customer but demand of large screen and touch interface bound the company to launched full touchscreen smartphones over the keyboard ones. Design

BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 faster than Apple iPhone 4

We know there is no point comparing the two brilliant smartphones the BlachBerry Bold Touch 9900 and Apple iPhone 4 from completely different world each proficient in there own way. But those who are highly perplexed on these two comprehensive phones must have a look below on there compared features.

Form:
Both these phones appears to be quite similar in terms of there dimensions and weights. iPhone 4 is captured into the 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm chassis whereas BlackBerry 9900 is about 115mm long, 66mm broad and 10.5mm thick. The weights are 137g and 130g respectively. The main difference comes with the screen. In blackberry Bold 9900, the phone is divided into a 2.8 TFT capacitive touchscreen and QWERTY keypad. On the other hand, in iPhone 4, the screen is covered all over the device with 3.5 inches IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen size.

Memory and Operating System:
This is the main and decisive section that differentiates the two smartphones. BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 and iPhone 4 both features respective operating systems in the markets, the Blackberry OS v7.0 and the Apple iOS 4.0. However, BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 is faster than iPhone 4 as it runs on 1.2 GHz processor along with 768 MB of RAM. On the other hand iPhone 4 sticks to 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU with 512MB RAM. BlackBerry Torch 9810: Arriving In August

BlackBerry Torch 9810 is the latest handset revealed from Blackberry which is fast enough running on 1.2 GHz processor that appears quite sturdy and powerful. The device is hitting the shelves in the UK in August.

Display and Camera:
BlackBerry Torch 9810 measures 111 x 61.9 x 14.5 mm weighing about 161g. The handset features a 3.2 inches capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 640 pixels. It also offers highly responsive optical trackpad along with Multi-touch input method, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off provided for smooth navigation over applications. The QWERTY keypad however makes the phone bulky but if you want a phone with large screen and a keyboard then this can be your choice.

Looking at the camera, it offers 5 mega pixel having loads of features to capture a perfect memorable pictures and videos. This includes continuous auto-focus, image stabilization and Geo-tagging that makes clicking a wonderful experience for a special event.

BlackBerry 8980 offers approaching soon

Yesterday RIM rumors suggest that the release of the Playbook tablet is likely to agree with Apple’s release date of the iPad 2.

The specifications shows that this at present is unexpected the 8980 will have Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support but no 3G connectivity support.
