
Sony Tablet S is finally out on pre-orders in the UK and has been labeled as company’s first tablet and is equipped with latest Android 3.1 (Honeycomb). The device is going to hit the shelves in the UK on September 16 with the cost price of £399 set for 16 GB Wi-Fi model. Whereas, the 6GB WiFi+3G model and 32GB WiFi-only model will be available at a cost price of £499 and £479 respectively.
Look And Feel:
The Sony Tablet S is a lightweight and peculiar device. It looks different with one side folded and rounded making it more comfortable in holding the device. The tablet comes with the 9.4 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with the pixel density of 800 x 1280 pixels. The slate is quite smooth in navigating through various applications via Multi-touch input method. Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and Three-axis gyro sensor features are also added.
Camera:
The slate is loaded with a great 5 mega pixel camera with the resolution of 2560х1920 pixels which is good enough to capture brilliant images and videos. It also comes with front facing 0.3 MP VGA camera for video callings and self posturing. Other camera highlights include Touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection.
