The mobile OS, MeeGo which is Intel and Nokia’s combined endeavor combining elements from Nokia’s Maemo and Intel’s renowned Moblin operating systems delays its launch till 2011. Thus Nokia N9 smartphone being powered by MeeGo foresees postponed in its release.
On one hand where Nokia is tight lipped regarding the matter, on other hand Intel announced that MeeGo based devices can’t shed their darkness before the first half of 2011.
MeeGo was earlier showcased in February and its lethargically approach towards its products is putting Nokia in trouble which is currently not in good condition for its smartphones range.
Nokia is expected to come up with new devices in Mobile Congress World (MWC) 2011 to be held in February. MeeGo based set-top boxes and in-car-entertainment systems, followed by tablets and netbooks are also in the pipeline of launch by the end of 2011.
