Samsung’s relation with Apple have never been jolly and they will turn even more sour as Samsung is seeking a ban on sale of Apple’s iPhone 4S over patent infringements.
Previously Apple had filed complaints that Samsung’s Tablets and Smartphones have copied iPad and iPhone. The number of cases rises to 20 involving the two companies this year with Samsung issuing counterclaims in a range of territories. Samsung revealed in France and Germany that it is set to file patent infringement claims against iPhone 4S. iPhone 4S can be removed from the store shelves within a matter of weeks after it has gone on sale.
Samsung stated: "Apple has continued to flagrantly violate our intellectual property rights and free-ride on our technology. We will steadfastly protect our intellectual property."
