Motorola released a latest device which is designed to directly compete with the Apple iPad 2 and i.e The Xoom Tablet.
If you do compare the Xoom Tablet to iPad 2, the Xoom Tablet is thicker and a third of a pound heavier. There is a dual core processor with more RAM as compare to the iPad 2. This mobile phone has a higher resolution screen and operates on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb Operating system. The Xoom Tablet also has a USB and HDMI Ports and there is a support of Flash also.
'Darren Seefried' is one of the Representative of the Motorola and he believes that what sets the Xoom apart? He said that Motorola the very first step in making the Xoom was to engineer it ahead of the current technology. Seefried also said that "If you look at the specification of the mobile phone, W e are pretty far advanced form spec to spec compared to other mobile phone.
Seefried also classified that "with the Xoom's ability to be an Open platform, you have more accessibility to content at a lower cost. You also have your own customizable content if you want to share the device between people in your family. The Xoom tablet also has an Accelerometer and you can use it as a device on a game like 'Extreme Snowboarding' or to watch home videos. It offers a full 16*9 HD rendering of video content or if you download movies and put them on this mobile phone you can enjoy a full theater experience".
Motorola also claimed that the Sales are increasing in US for Xoom Tablet but the tech analysts at Deutsche Bank claims that only 100,000 is been sold. In comparison of that Apple iPad 2 is been sold 2.5 million iPad in its first week.

The Apple iPad 2 is faster, lighter, thinner and better than its predecessor. It is the second release to the tablet which defines the genre. The one of the most interesting point of the mobile phone is its Price. In UK, it is £30 cheaper than the original iPad when it was launched. You can pay £399 for the 16 GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2 , £479 for 32 GB model and £559 for the 64 GB version. For the iPad 2 with both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, you have to pay an extra £100 across models. Apple is aimed to keep the iPad 2's interface simple- small icons and fiddle task.
